St. Paul’s opened District 6-5A play trimming the Slidell Tigers 47-40 on the road. St. Paul’s came back from a 21-17 halftime deficit. St. Paul’s Timothy Bedford delivered a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds with two blocks. Harrison Prieto also contributed 13 points with eight rebounds and four blocks. Cristophe Robertson chipped in with 10 points, six rebounds and three steals. Stephen Hammond netted six points with five rebounds and three assists. St. Paul’s improved to 11-6 after opening District 6-5A play on a winning note.
