The Mandeville Skippers and Northshore Panthers hooked up in a tough District 6-I soccer match which was played Sunday at Northshore. Due to all of the recent inclement weather the schools were able to get approval to play the match on Sunday instead of on last Friday as previously scheduled. Mandeville and Northshore battled to a 1-1 draw after the match was tied 1-1 at the half. Northshore’s Patrick Keegan netted the Panthers goal in the 20th minute assisted by Nick Panks. Keegan was named Northshore’s top player in the match. Mandeville’s Taylor Morise tied the match finding the range in the 34th minute. The Skippers named Alex Hollander their top defender. Northshore (8-4-5) stands 1-1-3 in district play.
