Campo in Division III National Championships
Former St. Paul’s wrestler Connor Campo, a two-time state champion in his junior and senior seasons, is currently a sophomore at Wartburg College in Iowa. Campo is wrestling this weekend in the NCAA Division III National Championships being held in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Campo is currently ranked fourth in the Nation, competing at 133 pounds. Campo enters the National Championships sporting a 24-4 record, and is rated No. 1 in the Region. Campo started as a freshman for the National Champion Knights, winning the region in 2014, and qualifying for the National Tournament. Wartburg College is seeking its fifth consecutive Division III National Championship, entering the action ranked No. 1.
Former Brother Martin Crusader wrestler Gerard Roman also qualified for Wartburg with a 28-4 record. Roman is ranked sixth in the country and won the regional in his weight class as well.
