The St. Paul’s Wolves soccer team, the Division I two-time consecutive state champions and the No. 1 ranked team in the nation according to MaxPreps following their 31-0-3 incredible season took away more honors with senior Barrick Roberts being named the 2015 All-Metro Boys Soccer Player of the Year and Wolves’ coach and mentor Sean Moser being tabbed the Coach of the Year. Roberts netted a team-high 28 goals with 14 assists leading the Wolves to their second consecutive state crown. Roberts, who carries a 4.4 GPA plans to attend LSU focusing on engineering. Joining Roberts on the First Team were his senior teammates Eric Guin and keeper Colin Hanley, who will be attending Niagara University on a soccer scholarship. Northlake Christian School senior Mason Cook, who helped lead his Wolverines to a state runner up finish before breaking his ankle in the playoffs joined his fellow St. Tammany players on the First Team along with Lakeshore High junior Keegan Stanworth and Mandeville High sophomore Devin Pathoumthong. Other First team members included East Jefferson senior Christian Aguirre and Brother Martin junior Miles Francis. Congratulations to the group of talented Northshore area soccer players who were named to the 2015 All-Metro Boys Soccer First Team.
