The National Weather Service says there is an Enhanced Risk for severe weather today along the Gulf Coast. All modes of severe weather are possible including tornadoes, a few of which could be strong. As a result of that warning St. Tammany School officials last night decided to close schools and offices for today. The highest risk is Washington and Tangipahoa Parishes in Louisiana and much of southern Mississippi. Schools are closed today include: St. Tammany, Livingston, Washington Parish (Including Bogalusa), and Tangipahoa. LSU has canceled afternoon classes. Southeastern says all classes at all locations will be cancelled for today. Employees should report to work but use discretion traveling.
