Statement from Pat Brister, St. Tammany Parish President:

The National Weather Service has informed us they are assessing the area around the converging three rivers — Bogue Falaya, Tchefuncte and Abita. Neighborhoods along both sides of these rivers should be aware of the possibility of flooding. As soon as we have final assessments from the National Weather Service we will put out more detailed information. National Weather Service has contacted DOTD with the possibility of rising water at I-12 in that area.

Residents in low-lying areas in or around Three Rivers Road, North of I-12 to Ronald Regan Highway, South to Madisonville, on the East side to 190 and on the West side to Highway 21, should consider voluntary evacuation.
