From Slidell PD:
Early this morning, Slidell Police and the U.S. Marshals arrested 29-year-old Valere Frazier, who was wanted for an attempted murder case out of Coushatta, Louisiana.
After a thirty minute stand-off, Frazier was taken into custody – without incident – at a residence on the 1300 block of Westlawn Drive. Frazier has multiple felony warrants from the Red River Parish Sheriff’s Office: Aggravated Criminal Damage, 2 counts of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Frazier was also wanted for fleeing from a Slidell Police officer on May 10, 2016, during a traffic stop, and also wanted by the Louisiana State Police for insurance fraud.
Frazier is currently being held at the Slidell City Jail, and will later be extradited to Red River Parish.
