Today was BUSY and GOOD.
We started with Ronnie Simpson, who wanted to explain yesterday’s FEMA Declaration and also talk about helping our neighbors to the west. We plan to carry the parish’s press conference at 3 on the Lake 94.7. Here is what Ronnie had to say.
Up next was Thomas Marlbrough from Mandeville, who just returned from riding a bike across the country. It is an inspiring story! Hear Thomas talk about it below.
We went to the dogs after that, literally. Scott Bernier and Susie Kaznowitz came by from the St Tammany Humane Society. They brought in a well-behaved four legged friend and spoke about the flooding crises and how they have helped out their partner Humane groups in the flooded areas. Find out more about how you can help out by listening to the interview or connecting with them here St Tammany Humane on FB.
We finished the day with Karla Glynn and Britney Nichelson from The Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The event is October 8th in Mandeville. Connect with them here ALZ WALK IN MANDEVILLE or listen to the interview below!
