Let’s see: Beer and Brats, Community Unity, and Diabetes Awareness, all in today’s Rewind, which is powered by:
We had a great chat about We Heart Vets and their event this weekend in Audubon Park. John Sutton, his younger sister Stacy Harter, and Sam White were all here to talk up their Beer and Brat Off, which pairs local chefs with local breweries for a contest that’ll be fun and taste good. Find out more here BEER AND BRAT OFF
We also spoke with Kasi Brannan and Adina Rivers about the Inaugural Community BBQ here in Covington. This even looks to bring every one together for some free food and great music from Soul Revival. Find out more here Community BBQ on FB.
We also spoke to our friends from St Tammany Parish Hospital. November is Diabetes Awareness Month so Amanda Paxton invited Terry Compton and Louie Desselle in to discuss the hospital’s efforts to combat it.
Finally we welcomed in Rev Howard from the Inspire Church. They are hosting a Fall Harvest Celebration on Sunday with free food, games, and a huge slide. Find out more here Inspire Church on FB.
