State Championship Soccer

 

Mike was able to grab some audio after the games this week. Here’s what a few of our players and coaches said…

 

Below you can hear Lakeshore Lady Titans senior keeper Caitlin Moore, the Outstanding Player of the Division II state championship game. Moore made two clutch saves on penalty kicks to help the Lady Titans hold off No. 1 seed St. Thomas More, 5-4 on PKs.

Post game interview with St. Paul’s junior Justin Savoie, selected the Outstanding Player in the boys Div. I state championship. Savoie netted a hat trick with an assist to spark the Wolves to a 5-1 victory over the Catholic High Wolves for their fourth consecutive state crown.

 

 

Post game interview with Fontainebleau Lady Bulldogs head soccer coach Carly Hotard-Pennington following the Div. I state championship game at Tad Gormley. The Lady Bulldogs came up short falling to two-time champion Mt. Carmel, 2-1.

 

 

Interview with St. Paul’s soccer coach Sean Moser following the Wolves fourth consecutive Div. I state championship, earning 5-1 victory over No. 11 seed Catholic High of Baton Rouge at Tad Gormley Stadium. Soccer excellence-Go Wolves!
