Today was a fun day with visits from Mayor Cooper, two folks from the St Tammany West Chamber and a gentleman running in one of the local political races.
Mayor Cooper stops by once a month to update us on Covington. He talked about events this month, the budget, and the importance of voting.
We spoke to Lacy and Mandi from the St Tammany West Chamber. Mandi organizes a lot of their events and she told us what was coming up. Lacy spoke about the importance of a local chamber.
And we got to meet a candidate in one of the local political races. Billy Burris is a lawyer who is running for one of the judge posts. He told us about his family and what he thinks about the law. Find out more in the interview below.
